Banhez Mezcal 1L

Comprised of 90% Espadin and 10% Barril, Banhez 42% is a delightfully mild, floral and fruity mezcal perfect for first-time mezcal tasters and wonderful for cocktail innovation. The smoke is there at first but ultimately plays a background role to gorgeous fruit-driven aromas of lime rind, banana, star fruit and papaya, accented by peppery flavors that awaken the senses. Produced in the village of San Miguel Ejutla in Oaxaca by a cooperative of 20 families using underground wood-fired pits, donkey-pulled tahonas, and small-batch distillation in copper alembics.
